Boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr was named by Forbes Magazine as the highest-paid athlete in sports. This is the second time in three years that the undefeated Mayweather has made it to the top of the list, with the previous occassion being 2012.
The boxing superstar, along with golfer Tiger Woods are the only athletes on the Forbes list to breach the $100 million mark.
"I'm humbled and extremely fortunate to be recognised by Forbes as the highest-paid athlete once again. I'm doing something no other athlete is doing, promoting myself and seeing my hard work pay off in the form of record-breaking numbers. It's all about hard work and dedication which is so important and a key part of my financial success," Mayweather said.
