Mumbai, Maharashtra, India:Elevator safety specialist TL Jones now offers its customers an online simulation tool for viewing their COMMANDER™ T2 touch car operating panel screen designs. Fully interactive, customers have the chance to work with their theme ‘live’ and approve it before it is loaded onto their T2 units.

“The best thing about Studio,” said Chris Woodman, general manager of TL Jones Ltd, “is the customer can see their designs before they receive their operating panels. From anywhere in the world, they can see and hear their T2 working as if in an actual elevator and, if necessary, send a quick email outlining any changes, which can be made and updated for the customer to approve.” There is also a library of that customer’s previous designs online that can be referenced easily.

First viewed publicly at Interlift 2011 in Augsburg, Germany, in October, COMMANDER™ Studio received very positive feedback from industry professionals. “It’s the only one of its kind in this industry,” added Mr Woodman.
