Toshiba Elevator India to Participate in 4th International Elevator & Escalator Expo in Mumbai

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India:

Toshiba Elevator India Private Limited (TEI), a Toshiba Group company, today announced its participation in the 4th International Elevator & Escalator Expo in Mumbai, India, the company's second appearance at an elevator expo in India. The Mumbai Expo will run from Feb. 16 through Feb. 18 and display will put the spotlight on such innovations as the world's fastest elevator and state-of-the-art double-deck elevator technology. Visitors will also be able to see a model of the elevator car capsule of the world's fastest elevator.

TEI is member of the Toshiba Elevator and Building Systems Corporation (TELC) (headquarter in Tokyo, Japan), a subsidiary of, Tokyo-based Toshiba Corporation, which is a global leader in such product areas as industrial products, social infrastructure, power plants, digital products, electronic components and home appliances. (TELC) develops, manufactures, sells, installs and maintains elevators and escalators, and is one of Japan's largest company, able to handle all aspects of the elevator and escalator business.

TEI was established last July. The company is now readying to accelerate its business in the fast growing Indian market, where strong growth is expected in coming years. Fortunately, TEI was able to capture already two notable projects, "One Avighna Park" and Hiranandani's "Basilius Rodas Enclave".
