A cool new Figo
The Figo concept showcased by Ford at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo will soon see the light of the day. The vehicle will go on sale in Brazil in the coming months, while India will get it by early next year.
With this launch, Ford India will enter the hot-selling, entry-level, sub-4m-sedan category, which is presently dominated by Maruti Suzuki's Dzire, Hyundai's Xcent and Honda's Amaze.
The next generation Figo is christened as KA in Brazil. The compact sedan's name, which is still a mystery in India, is known as KA+ in Brazil. So, will the sedan in India be known as Figo+?
The major difference between the KA+ and compact sedan that the company showcased at the Expo this year, is that the KA+ will be a tad over 4m while the Indian version will be under 4m.
Recently, Ford also revealed pictures of its next generation Figo, which is scheduled to be launched along with the sedan.
