Fahadh Faasil’s phenomenal rise to prominence was one of the best things about 2013. He was seen in 12 films and all credit to him as every character that he presented on screen were appreciated for the style and finesse.
Annayum Rasoolum, Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla, Red Wine, Amen, Immanuel, Akam, 5 Sundarikal, Olipporu, Artist, North 24 Kaatham, D Company and Oru Indian Pranayakatha were the twelve movies that he did this year.
The actor had a disastrous debut in 2002 in his dad Fazil's film, Kaiyethum Doorathu, after which he was out of the industry for seven years. He came back with Kerala Cafe in2009 and there has been no looking back ever since.
Perhaps when his "out of the box" films failed to set the box office on fire this year, Fahadh teamed up with Sathyan Anthikkad and Amala Paul in Oru Indian Pranayakatha, playing a conventional hero.
When Sify.com quizzed him on the character that resembles his real self the most, Fahadh said there were traces of him in ‘Rasool’ from Annayum Rasoolum.
