Heart, Randy Newman and Quincy Jones are among the first inductees arriving at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
The rockers, the singer-songwriter and the producer are part of 2013 induction class, which also includes progressive rockers Rush, rap group Public Enemy, disco queen Donna Summer, bluesman Albert King and producer Lou Adler.
Heart, Newman, Public Enemy and Rush are expected to perform at Thursday night's star-studded event, while Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson are set to perform in honor of the late Summer at the 28th annual induction ceremony at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
The extravaganza marks the first time since 1993 that the Cleveland, Ohio, institution has held its induction ceremony on the West Coast. It will be broadcast May 18 on HBO.
