Kannada film industry has been progressing gradually and the year 2013 has been a platform for many kinds of experimental cinemas. Sandalwood has not only opened its doors for such kind of films but has also welcomed them grandly.
The subject chosen for film making, the picturisation, the unfolding of the story line and many more aspects of film making have contributed towards a better rather a different set of films. Such kinds of films, though made on a low budget have struck reasonably high on their profit. The experimental films which are also allegedly the low budget films was kick started in this year with Gombegala Love followed by Simpallag Ondh Love Story, Lucia, Jatta, Chitramandiradalli, Dyaavre and now the year is coming to an end with 6-5=2.

Gombegala Love: Though the movie wasn`t talked about during its making, it raised its voice silently and won the heart of the audience and critics through its unique narration.
