There were no chief guests or long-winding speeches or ego massage sessions. The three hours of pure entertainment had a packed audience in raptures. Comperes Sivan Karthikeyan and Aadhavan duo did a fine job. Their bickering and chemistry worked big time especially when they mimicked K Bhagyaraj, Vijaykanth and TR if they were to sing `Kolaveri`.
A laser show was followed by a live concert when Dhanush performed to three numbers `Kannazhaga...,` the remix of `Po Nee Po..` and the `Kolaveri` number along with music director the young, soft-spoken Anirudh.
The album has a mix of soft melodies and fast numbers with Vijay Yesudas, Mohit Chauhan, Shwetha Mohan, Anirudh, new singers Satya Prakash and Ajeesh crooning. All the songs are written by Dhanush and one song is by Aishwarya.
However, it was double whammy when fans went berserk and Dhanush performed `Kolaveri` for the second time on their request. True to his image, the actor asked his wife Aishwarya and Shruti to pick three girls and three boys from the audiences to launch the audio along with Kastoori Raja and wife, Lata Rajinikanth and the crew members.
