The only other Indian film which had its special effects done at Stan Winston is Shankar's Rajinikanth sci-fi entertainer Enthiran in 2010.
A source close to the development said: "7am Arivu special effects are going to be talked about as it is state of the art on par with Hollywood. Nearly Rs 10 Crore has been spent on special effects, which would be one of the highlights of the film."
Some of the major Hollywood films done at Stan Studios are the Terminator series, the Jurassic Park series, Aliens and the Predator series, Iron Man and the biggest of them all Avatar.
