Sukrutham, directed by Harikumar in 1994 with Mammootty as the hero, is all set to be made in Hindi and Bengali.
The film's script by M T Vasudevan Nair is regarded as one of the best ever in Malayalam.
The film narrates the sad story of a journalist, who is diagnosed with cancer. He loses all hope and when he recovers miraculously, he is shocked to learn that everyone around him was actually waiting for his death.
Aamir Khan is slated to do the role played by Mammootty in Hindi and in Bengali, Prosenjit Chatterjee may do the role.
Meanwhile, Harikumar is working on a new project, with a script written by Santhosh Echikkanam.
The film will have Unni Mukundan and Lal in the lead roles and the shooting will start next month.
