Earlier in the year, he had gained much praise for hosting Satyamev Jayate.
And now, as part of promoting his new film Talaash, he acted in C.I.D. and interacted with the Star Parivar.
While on the sets of one of Star Plus' shows, he even said that he wanted to produce a daily soap!
"If I find a good script, I would definitely like to make a daily soap," said Aamir. "But that totally depends on the script."
Aamir also said that his mother is an ardent fan of soaps Pratigya and Diya Aur Baati Hum.
So do we now keep a lookout for a saas bahu drama from Aamir's production house? We never thought we'd see the day!
