Thangar Bachan, known for his emotional Tamil films like Azhagi and Thendral, says his upcoming movie Ammavin Kaipesi will shake up those who've disowned their mothers. He said: "My film is about a mother, who is abandoned by her son. Those, who have done something similar in their lives, will regret their action if they watch the movie".
The emotional drama features Shanthanoo Bhagyaraj, Iniya, Revathy, Thangar Bachan and Meenal in pivotal roles.
The 50-year-old cinematographer-turned-director is known for his offbeat and strikingly unique films. One of his critically acclaimed films is Azhagi had Nandita Das in the lead.
Rohit Kulkarni has composed the music for the film which is slated to be released on October 19.
