​Appukutty is back with 'Mannaru'

Remember Appukutty who did the lead role in that cute little film, Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai? This Suseenthiran film got him a National award and recognition.

Now Appukutty is back with another new movie Mannaru, directed by debutant Jaya Shankar. Swati of Raatinam fame is the heroine. It also has Thambi Ramaiah in an important role.

Appukutty says : “ Mannaru is an altogether new experience. My character in the film is totally different from my first movie and it is in a different genre. It is about how an ordinary does something extraordinary in a difficult situation and earns the respect of the society.”
