Archana pins hope on Aravaan

Aravaan, Archana Kavi, Vasanthabalan

In an industry where every film revolves around the hero, Archana Kavi has done heroine centric films like Neelathamara and Mummy & Me in Malayalam, both of which focused mainly on her.

The petite bombshell is a bubbly chatterbox who oozes innate charm.

Archana, who hails from Kannur, was born and brought up in Delhi. It was during her stint as an anchor in a channel that noted director Lal Jose selected her for the role of `Kunjimalu`, a maid in an old tharavadu, in Neelathamara.

In Tamil her big ticket to stardom will be Vasanathabalan directed Aravaan. Says the actress: "I want to do more films in Tamil and is waiting for the right scripts to happen".
