The film is written and directed by Meera Kathiravan and has Jai, Nandagi, Kanja Karuppu, Rama, Theodore Bhaskaran, Veera Santhanam and others. The film's music is by Vijay Antony, lyrics by debutant Egadasi, editing by Raja Mohamed and cinematography by P G Muthiah.
It is a great honour for Aval Peyar Tamilarasi, a film still under production, to be premièred at DIFF. The film is scheduled to release in Tamil Nadu after its Dubai premier in December.
