Amitabh Bachchan was present at the website launch of National Award winning Marathi music directors Ajay and Atul Gogawale - a highly publicised event because Big B was due to inaugurate their site, www.ajayatul.com.
But there was something else that would've made even bigger news. If Mr Bachchan had run into Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray, who was also invited to the event. Had the two met, we're sure we'd have had juicy headlines for a week! But Big B spared us the masala by making an exit before the politician arrived.
Now that Thackeray has made the statement that''for getting jobs in Mumbai, one has to be a Maharashtrian by birth,'' it's quite a surprise that the composers invited UP Brand Ambassador and most-hated celebrity by the Marathi Manoos, Amitabh Bachchan, to the event.
Thankfully, all went well. Here's a look at Big B's close call.
