Bollywood attends Dev Anand's prayer meet

Dev Anand's prayer meet was held in Mehboob Studios, where he had shot most of his films. The studio, where the late actor had a personal makeup room until his death, cancelled every shoot on December 16 so his co-stars, leading ladies and fans could honour him.

Dev Anand's yesteryear leading ladies Waheeda Rahman, Simi Garewal, Zeenat Aman and Tina Ambani came to bid Dev sahib goodbye.

We also spotted Dev sahib's nephew Shekhar Kapur, Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Tabu at the studios.

Others who joined the prayer meet were Ashutosh Gowariker, Vinod Khanna, Mani Ratnam and Ramesh Sippy.

Dev Anand, who dedicated 65 years of his life to cinema and acted in more than 110 movies, died in London on December 3 at the age of 88.
