Karnataka`s star player, Dhruv who had represented the state`s team earlier was the star attraction while captain Sudeepa and Karthick chipped in with their useful contributions in the Bengaluru and Chennai matches.
Saturday`s match saw the Mumbai Heroes scoring 157 runs in 20 overs with Riteish Deshmukh doing an excellent job, Karnataka replied in a gritty fashion by scoring 158 runs in just 18 overs.
Sunday`s match saw the Karnataka film stars team winning in a cavelier fashion. Incidentally, Priyamani celebrated her birthday at her hometown Bengaluru in front of all her co-stars in the Telugu, Tamil and Kannada film industries in the Chinnaswamy stadium where the CCL cricket matches were organised.
Now, the Karnataka Bulldozers team is certain to enter the finals. And what with its top form, it is sure to win against either the Telugu or Tamil film stars cricket team on June 12.
