The eight day festival (December 14 to 22) will showcase 154 films from 45 countries. Organised by the Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation (ICAF), the festival will also screen films presented at the Cannes and Berlin film festivals.
A press conference was held to announce the festival schedule. Those who attended it from the industry included Sarath Kumar, Suhasini Maniratnam, Lissy Priyadarsan, and Radhika Sarathkumar among others.
Suhasini Maniratnam said, “The festival will include a special panel discussion with eminent film critics and personalities. The discussion can be attended by students, fans, critics and all those who love cinema. A special red carpet event will see seven best films screened specially for the film fraternity.”
