Think Cannes and it is Aishwarya Rai who pops into our minds. There's no escaping the Bachchan bahu. When she didn't scare us or wow us (she took turns in this) with her clothes, she impressed us with her "first Indian actress to be a jury member". As she gets ready to walk the red carpet for the eight year in succession, we throw a look back at her previous appearances.

2002

Bollywood's princess made her grand entry onto the international stage in style - in a horse drawn carriage. Dressed in a heavily embellished yellow sari, appropriately accessorised with heavy gold jewellery, Aishwarya was a sight to behold as she walked the red carpet on the arm of Devdas co-star, Shah Rukh Khan.
