It's one thing to have twitter wars. But it's a whole new nasty when it's face-to-face. And what makes celebrity brawls the nastiest sort is because it's all under the spotlight.
The latest one that's got our attention is the Shah Rukh Khan and Shirish Kunder brawl. King Khan has tried to dampen the buzz by stating that the constant reports on this episode is affecting his kids. And he has a point.
We're not taking sides nor are we saying it's right, but why can't he afford to lose his temper? And why can't we take his word for it that they've patched up, and move on?
But Shah Rukh really needn't worry. We forget quick. We all seem to have given up on finding out what Abhishek & Aishwarya have named their daughter. And there was such a hoo-haa about it when Bachchan Jr tweeted asking for suggestions.
In another instance, Shiney Ahuja is back in films and no one seems to care about the alleged 'rapist' tag. But then, neither do we care about the films he stars in.
However, King Khan will have to live with the fact that we have selective memory. Another fight involving other members of the Hindi film fraternity will invariably drag his name out into the open, like we're about to do now.
