Eve Ensler's radical play The Vagina Monologues was staged in India recently. It was a Hindi adaptation with guest stars from Bollywood: Chitrangada Singh, Suchitra Pillai and Manasi Scott.

Exploring issues like violence against women, the play has come at the right time when the country looks inward after the recent rape of a medical student in Delhi. The charity dinner was attended by celebrities who turned up to show their support for the play.
