The actor kicked off the 61st Idea Filmfare Awards press meet with the traditional lighting of the lamp.
Post that, he settled down for a chat with the media. First, he apologised profusely for being late. Apparently, he was caught up with a shoot in Pondycherry. But after a couple of jokes pertaining to his misadventures on the road, the press was ready to hear him talk about his Filmfare experience.
Dhanush confessed that he'd been pining for the 'black lady' ever since he became an actor, and that he didn't get lucky till Aadukalam came his way.
He had us warming up to him as he moved on to the topic of his Bollywood presence, his comfort level with Hindi and the hurdles he had to overcome while shooting Raanjhanaa.
This year, Filmfare has 607 movies across 21 categories from the 4 states of South India competing for the Award. And that's going to make it a spectacular show!
