Dhoom 3 is getting dubbed in Tamil and is releasing big all over Tamil Nadu in nearly 200 screens. It is going to take on the two big Tamil Christmas releases Biriyani and Endrendrum Punnagai.
At a packed media meet, Aamir Khan made the right noises saying he is a big fan of Rajinikanth, his respect for K Balachandar and how much he loves Tamil cinema and its makers. He also said that he did the Hindi remake of Tamil hit Ghajini after Suriya persuaded him. He feels Dhoom 3 his first film to be dubbed in Tamil will reach across to a new audience.
Katrina, who does her first full length action role in the film, said Chennai was like her second home. Her mother used to stay in Chennai before moving to Madurai. She has done Telugu and Malayalam films but regrets not doing a Tamil film.
Abhishek Bachchan, who has worked a lot in Chennai during the making of Mani Ratnam`s Guru and Raavan, was all praise for the Tamil film industry. Vijay Krishna Acharya, the director who had penned the story for the first two parts in the franchise, said they spent nearly two months in Chicago in US doing the daring action scenes with the help of foreign stuntmen.
It was very well conducted press meet and the star interaction made all journalist and a few fans happy. Dhoom 3 is releasing on December 20 worldwide.
