In picture: Dia Mirza walks the ramp for Rocky S
The very first edition of India Kids Fashion Week (IKFW) - a three-day extravaganza - kick-started on January 17.
IKFW is an attempt to catapult India on to the global kids fashion map.
"Trends in the Indian market are fast changing and kid's apparel market is growing rapidly," said designer Rocky S. "One of the important changes is the increasing preference for branded apparel. Kids focus on dressing styles and are aware of what suits them most. Influenced by mass media and peer pressure, today's kids are more informed and self-conscious."
Bollywood stars are giving their time to make the show a success. While Dia Mirza and Tisca Chopra walked the ramp on day one, we may soon see Sushmita Sen and her daughters, and Hrithik Roshan walk the runway, too.
