Disappointingly though, the celebrities didn't go all out to wow us at Elle. There was none of the risque fashion, the retro glam or the fashion forward looks that had us mesmerised.

Instead, they sported some sleek yet safe choices.

Diana Penty and Jiah Khan gave us the two standout looks of the evening. While Diana covered up in a slinky black gown with a cinched in waist, Jiah brought the drama with a sequin and feather creation by Falguni and Shane Peacock.

In comparison, the others - including Soha Ali Khan and Evelyn Sharma - looked quite dull.
