In picture: Anushka's tribute to Hindi cinema's evergreen beauties
The Filmfare Awards 2013 was telecast on February 17 on Sony TV. Celebrating 100 years of Hindi cinema, it was a star-studded spectacle complete with tributes to its various eras.
Ranveer Singh showcased the dance forms over the years, while Anushka Sharma danced to the tunes of yesteryear beauties. Katrina Kaif had the stage sizzling with her belly-dance numbers. Hrithik Roshan rocked out to a Ganesh visarjan choreography. But the biggest show stealer proved to be King Khan.
His opening act has Twitter abuzz with thumbs up from fans. At the same time, his hosting gig has also raised eyebrows. Being the star he is, he effortlessly overshadowed many of the winners that night.
SRK's repertoire comprised his trademark laugh and tongue-in-cheek humour. It was his show from start to finish. Some found it an overkill while most couldn't stop raving.
