Actress Esha Deol got engaged to businessman Bharat Takhtani at their Juhu residence in Mumbai.
The ceremony was a small gathering of close family and friends with Aishwarya Dhanush being the only invitee from Kollywood.
Esha and Aishwarya are childhood friends and in spite of her busy schedule, Aishwarya was present with Esha on her special day.
The wedding will be a grand affair, and the date will be announced soon, said a family source. Contrary to reports in a section of the media that Esha's engagement outfit was to be a ghagra worth Rs 9 lakhs as a gift from dad Dharmendra, Esha wore a sari for the occasion.
Hema Malini was seen in a beautiful Kancheevaram sari and the ambiance and food were in typical south Indian style, said the source.
