The film has successfully completed its shooting schedul so far and has finished 60% of the film.
Both Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopr put their projects on the backburner. While Vinod Chopra religiously worked on the pre-production of the film, Rajkumar Hirani wrote the dialogues of the film. Both the veterans are proud of their protege, director Rajesh Mapuskar`s achievements.
The makers of Ferrari ki Sawaari have decided to take a bold step and release the film on 27 April, 2012 bang in the middle of the IPL season. No film till now has been released as a conscious decision in the midst of the IPL mania .
Director Rajesh Mapuskar confirms, "Yes we are releasing in midst of IPL. Ferrari Ki Sawaari is one of the most awaited films of the year and we have decided on 27 April, 2012 to be the release date for us."
