While his passing is a blow not easy to digest, we know that his songs remain - for us and posterity to view, listen and heave a sigh over.
There is nothing I can say about any of Shammi's songs that listeners don't already know. All of us are familiar with Shammi's most popular numbers and all his numbers were popular.
So I'll do the next best thing - I'll pick out my favourite Shammi songs.
