The epic battle of man vs. alien takes place on a far off land, Pandora, rich in minerals that the humans vie for. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), the 'hero', is a former marine now restrained to the wheel chair. But the loss of his legs has not quelled his thirst for action. He signs up for the Avatar program where genetically-bred human-Na'vi hybrids are created.
Soon, in his new body, he's striding across Pandora to infiltrate the alien race called the Na'vi and their ranks, avert large scale war with the humans and ensure they evacuate the land that's hot property for the human race. But then comes Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) and love that threatens his plans. Jake Sully finds himself in a compromising position. Does he retain the interests of the human race or does he side with the rightful anger of the Na'vis in an epic battle that will decide the entire fate of the world?
