Bollywood has always looked to real-life events as inspiration for their movies. The latest in the long line of movies based on real-life stories is Ram Gopal Varma's Not a Love Story.
This Ram Gopal Varma movie was based on the controversial Neeraj Grover murder case which involved small-time Kannada actress Maria Susairaj and her then fiance Emile Jerome. The movie received mixed reviews and had a poor opening in the box-office.
