Lady Gaga, the headlining act at India's first ever Formula One after-party, put on one helluva show at Arjun Rampal's lounge, Lap Bar.
A fashionista known to shock, it was interesting to see Gaga's tempered down wardrobe to match Indian sensibilities.
She wore a one-shoulder gown to the press conference at the Taj Mansingh Hotel, New Delhi. Designed by Naeem Khan, it was a classic look that went spectacularly well with her tri-coloured hair.
For her show at the after-party, Gaga wore an Indian-themed costume. A veil, a beaded corset and an overlapping skirt teamed with black heels and fishnets, had Gaga looking pretty modest.
But of course, no Gaga show can go without her trademark shock value. It was her mic that did the trick. It was shaped like a phallus!
The brazen mic was however, lost in Gaga's spectacular performance that was put together exclusively for India. For the first time ever, she performed the track Marry the Night from her album Born This Way to the strums of a sitar.
Not only did she come prepared with an exclusive performance, she also seems to have done her research and assured us that she would never wear her 'meat dress' here, as India is the "land of the holy cows."
She thoroughly floored her one thousand fans at Lap Bar, and organiser Arjun Rampal. As a token of her appreciation, she apparently gave him her personal Versace cup.
Gaga in turn, was bowled over by the country. She shopped ahead of her performance at ethnic stores. And surprisingly, she did so in normal clothes and shoes. No walking on the roads in innerwear like she is wont to do.
She signed off her trip by tweeting, "Screw Hollywood. It's all about Bollywood."
