According to Ganesh, the film is an out and out comedy. "I was supposed to work in a remake for Sandesh Nagaraj. Later, he asked me to hear the story written by B.A.Madhu which I instantly liked. Then Pradeep Raj was roped in to direct this film. Improvements were made in the final script. I really enjoyed working in this film", said Ganesh.
