Plastic's under attack in Mumbai and actress Gul Panag is leading the charge.
"I believe the people in Mumbai are aware of their surroundings and if we appeal to them with the objective of this project, Say No To Plastic, they will surely be a part of it," said the actress.
Gul joined actress Pallavi Joshi to inaugurate the Green Commandoes project. Their first initiative will be carried out in 400 areas in Mumbai, where they plan to get local communities to make their neighbourhood plastic free and eco-friendly.
"We can stop spitting or littering on the roads. We can stop using plastic. These things are in our control, so we should start doing that from today," she said.
