The trailer and the songs has distributors drooling over the film. The Sruthi-Sundar C glam song on the beach and the 'Lollu clash between the two male leads' makes it commercially viable.
Says a leading distributor from Salem: "If you have noted for the last two months Kollywood was dishing out stuff mostly for the A-center audiences, mainly for Chennai multiplexes. Guru Sishyan is purely targeted at the mass audience, which means it is a safe bet."
The film is due for release on May 7.
