The talented actor Kishore is back in a powerful role with Haridas, an action thriller directed by GNR Kumaravel .Haridas has tremendous title value as a movie. The 1944 movie with MK Thyagaraja Bhagavathar was a milestone in Tamil talkies as it ran for 110 weeks in a single theatre! Now nearly 68 years after the first Haridas released, director GNR Kumaravelan of `Ninaithale Inikkum` and `Yuvan Yuvathi` fame is coming out with this film which has Kishore and Sneha in the lead with music by Vijay Antony.
Haridas (2012) is about an eight-year-old boy's view on life and his father. Prithviraj Das plays the crucial role of the child. Says Kumarvelan: "For each and every child, his/ her father is the first hero. This is the basic knot of the script. A different treatment has been given to the screenplay."
In fact Sneha opted out of Rajinikanth`s Kochadaiyaan for Haridas, as she was more kicked about her role in the film.
She had said in her interviews that out of the 80 odd scripts she had heard, none had excited her more.
The shooting of the film is complete and the audio was launched on Nov 26.
