IIFA 2012 is officially underway! A number of stars greeted the press at a conference in Singapore.
Kicking off the show were Neha Dhupia and IIFA Rocks hosts Ayushman Khurana and Chitrangada Singh. The three seem to have colour-coordinated their outfits for the occasion.
Also making an appearance was Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan who is set to showcase the first look of his upcoming film, Vishwaroopam.
It was also a big day for the Shanghai team comprising director Dibakar Bannerjee, Kalki Koechlin and Abhay Deol, as they gear up for the world premiere of their film.
Rishi Kapoor ushered in the centenary celebration of Indian cinema by wielding the mic. "We are celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema, of which my family has contributed to 80 years. It began with my grandfather Pritviraj Kapoor, then my father Raj and uncles Shashi and Shammi, then me and my brothers. Now my son Ranbir and nieces Karisma and Kareena are carrying forward the legacy,"said the veteran actor.
Shabana Azmi, Farhan & Zoya Akhtar, Usha Uthup and Resul Pookutty too, came out to add to the razzmatazz of the opening press conference.
