I am the first married girl to compete at this level on Indian Idol. And I`m here to prove myself. Now I am practicing hard, doing riaz daily. I want people to sit up and notice me when I sing in the galas.
Things are hotting up
The competition became tougher after I came back in the wild card. Especially with Prasenjit. He is strong in classical music and after his vote out something seems to have awakened in himÃÂsome spark that has made him more determined than ever to win. He will be tough to beat.
It was rocking in Bhopal
IÃÂve done a lot of shows before, but IÃÂve never got such a great response. We didnÃÂt have to tell crowd to danceÃÂthey were dancing with us. It was a great experience, to perform on such a big stage in front of so many people. Though I was a little scared and confused first about what I would do when I got on the stage, when the moment came, I was like this is my state [Madhya Pradesh] and my people and I have nothing to be afraid of.
