Kajal Agarwal, Suriya's Maatran heroine, has gone topless in the September issue of the men's magazine FHM. The actress seems to be getting desperate to be noticed in Bollywood. She had been paired opposite Ajay Devgn in one of the biggest Bollywood hits of 2011 Singam.
However, no offers came her way in Bollywood and she was criticised for a wink-and-you-miss-role in the film.
By going topless for the cover of the magazine, she has stirred a hornet's nest and has walked into another controversy.
Earlier she was in the news for making an insensitive comment that she has never considered herself to be a south Indian actress as she is a north Indian by birth!
No heroine doing south Indian films with top heroes has ever dared to pose semi-nude like this before.
A lot of Mumbai publicists feel Kajal did the cover to grab eyeballs which may enable her to sign her next film in Hindi. This cover looks very similar to Lindsay Lohan's bare act for Entertainment Weekly.
The buzz in south is -"How could Kajal do this at a time when she is doing Suriya's KV Anand directed Maatran and Mahesh Babu's Puri Jagganath directed The Businessman?"
