A debut film can make or break one`s career, but fortunately for Janani Iyer, her introduction as a police constable in Avan Ivan opposite Vishal was noticed.
Now she is the heroine in director Aslam`s Paagan, opposite Srikanth.
Says Janani who can speak Tamil fluently, unlike others: "I never planned to be in movies and it just happened. Having done one film, I was keen on doing a role that was different and challenging. Paagan gives me that opportunity. I am not in the rat race. I am patient enough to look for that one good role that will give me and the audience total satisfaction.”
