The movie was later remade in Telugu and Hindi as Pellam Oorelithe and No Entry respectively. The Malayalam version of the same was called Happy Husbands.
Kalla Malla Sulla has Crazy Star Ravichandran, Ramesh Arvind and Vijaya Raghavendra in title roles and Raagini, Monica, Yagna Shetty and Rishika Singh playing their romantic interests. Comedians Raju Thalikote, Ramesh Bhat and Sihi Kahi Chandru also essay important roles.
The film is produced by K.Manju and directed by Udaya Prakash. C.S.V.Seetharam is the cinemetographer while Alex Paul is the music director.
The songs of the film have been shot in Bangkok and Dubai. Udaya Prakash says that the film is a complete entertainer.
