The theme of the conference is “Embracing the digital world” and will bring together over 500 media and people from the entertainment field from India and abroad.
Kamal Haasan the chairman of MEBC, who was shooting for his Viswaroopam in Jordan, flew down to Chennai for the meet.
At the conclave, the highlight will be the release of a comprehensive report on the southern media and entertainment by FICCI-Deloitte.
Kamal Haasan said at the press meet: “Our key objective is to enable delegates to stay at the forefront of the ever-changing media landscape. We want to take up regulatoryissues with the state and central governments and bring Indian states and their entertainment industries together under a single platform.
