Indian filmmaker Kanu Behl's Titli has been chosen for a screening at the 67th Cannes International Film Festival, to be held May 14 - 25.
The makers of the film are on a promo spree, leaving no stone unturned to put their film under the spotlight. Backed by Dibakar Bannerjee and YRF, that won't be a hard task.
Titli, starring Ranvir Shorey, Amit Sial and newcomer Shashank Arora, revolves around the volatile relationship between two brothers.
The script was selected for Film Bazaar’s Screenwriter’s Lab in 2012 and won the Post-Production Award at Film Bazaar’s Work-In-Progress Lab in 2013.
