Shot in the picturesque locales of Coorg district and surroundings,
Male Barali Manju Irali is the second directorial venture (after
E Bandhana) of actress-cum-producer Vijayalakshmi Singh.
She is the sister of well known director S V Rajendra Singh Babu and the wife of top producer and actor Jai Jagdeesh. The shooting has been systematically completed and the film is going before the censor board in the next week. This is a love story with a difference, set in a backdrop of rain and mist.

Male Barali Manju Irali (translated as 'Let the rain come, and the mist remain') the film will be a pleasant experience with lovely music from ace composer Mano Murthy of
Mungaru Male fame, says Vijayalakshmi Singh.
B A Madhu has penned the dialogues and Yogaraj Bhat another ace director (of
Mungaru Male and
Gaalipata) and writer has penned the lyrics for the film.
Parvathi Menon, besides playing the lead role, has also added some inputs after hearing the script from director Vijayalakshmi Singh. Srinagara Kitty, Nag Kiran, Jai Jagdeesh, Haripriya, Hema Chaudhary, Mukyamantri Chandru, Sharan, Sadhu Kokila, Meghasri, Sonia are also in the cast.
