Mallika Sherawat seems to be trying too hard to make a statement at Cannes this year. First, we had the black see-through gown at the premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, then she sobered up with a pretty pink gown and now, she's in this!
The gown by itself is delicate with the feather details and patterns on the bodice. But it does nothing to Mallika's world-famous curves.
We would've liked it if Mallika hadn't taken away from the gown with that necklace. And as for the hairdo, it's time she experiments with new styles.
However, her smile did manage to win us over despite trying too hard.
