Shahid, Sonam, Pankaj Kapoor, Supriya Pathak and music director Pritam, all came together to celebrate the success of their film's music.
Director Pankaj Kapoor kick-started the party by addressing everyone and shared his experience in the making Mausam and its music.
The director said that Mausam music and promos have been well received through out India, and promised that this love story will come across as a breath of fresh air. He believes that Mausam will bring back the classic love story that people haven't seen in a very long time. He further added that Shahid and Sonam will re-create the innocence and purity of the feeling we all long for - Love.
When Shahid took to the stage, he revealed that Pritam was his father's first choice as he believed that this music director was the only person to communicate true passion and love through music.
Next up, was music director Pritam. The composer confessed that he was extremely nervous to meet 'the' Pankaj Kapoor for the first time and had asked Shahid to accompany him for the meeting.
Sonam Kapoor shared her thoughts by expressing that the music is the ‘soul' of Mausam's script and it is the most important element that touches a chord with the audience.
The event ended with a splash as Anil Kapoor popped opened champagne and congratulated the entire Mausam team for the success of their music.
The film's producer, Mr Sheetal Vinod Talwar from Cinergy, and Ram Mulchandani from Eros International were also present at the event.
