The response to the trailer is overwhelming and the film has become hot as far as trade is concerned. The film produced by Gemini Film Circuit, has sold out all its Indian theatrical rights. Chennai city and NSC rights have been purchased from Gemini by new entrants, both who are MBA graduates!
Selvaraghavan has been able to create a hype around him that today there are dedicated fans for the director who are aggressively promoting the film. Selva is a brand that is trusted by the audiences. GV Prakash`s music is already topping the charts.
The advance booking for the film which started in some Chennai screens on Tuesday has been very good. And with multiplexes opening their advance booking from today, Mayakkam Enna is assured of a good opening on Friday.
