After starring in several horror films, Bipasha Basu now feels she has become the face of fear on the big screen. And that's a tag she quite enjoys!
"I don't mind becoming a trend-setter in this space," said Bipasha. "If the role and the subject in horror space is interesting then why not do it."
Bipasha has starred in Vishesh Bhatt's Raaz and Raaz 3, Ram Gopal Varma's Darna Zaroori HaiRakht, among other suspense flicks.
And now she will be seen in Aatma
Bips feels the horror genre in India is in its nascent stage and filmmakers must come up with innovative concepts to further explore this space.
"There are many interesting things to explore in horror space," she said.
As to why Bipasha does so many of these horror flicks: "My roles in such films have been different and strong. So it's good to play such roles."
Aatma, which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shernaz Patel and Doyel Dhawan, will release on March 22.
