Snehaveedu has been censored by Thiruvananthapuram and has been cleared with a clean U certificate.
The buzz is that it is an "emotional, light-hearted, clean family drama about the bond between a mother [Sheela] and her son [Mohanlal]".
Producers Aashirwad Cinemas and distributors Max Lab are releasing Snehaveedu in only 69 screens in Kerala on Friday.
Sathyan Anthikad films always pick up thanks to word-of-mouth, and he believes in a long run and family audiences than a grand opening.
